Yesterday I made a pinhole camera with the one and only Sherman Lam (my best friend since childhood). Here it is, me, Flare, and another girl's creation we are holding. Three cans taped together for a three-way capturing. The one Flare and I made failed so hard it basically is black when inverted (which means it's overexposed as pure white). The photo of the girl's pinhole camera actually worked, but the person that stood in the photo for a total of 6 minutes exposing the camera is nowhere to be seen. It feels very weird because during the whole time she was standing right there, so she must be very easily captured. But there she is, only a lurk of shadow in the fuzziness of the city. We always think we are being aware, but aren't we all just a lurk of shadow in dreamlike city of Hong Kong.

昨天我和Sherman Lam（我從小的好朋友）一起製作了一個針孔相機。

這就是我們的作品，我、Flare和另一位女孩的創作。我們把三個罐子用膠帶黏在一起，進行三路拍攝。我和Flare製作的那個失敗得很慘，負片幾乎是黑色的（這意味著它過度曝光，變成純白）。女孩的針孔相機拍出的照片實際上是成功的，但在照片中站了6分鐘以曝光相機的人卻消失得無影無蹤。這感覺非常奇怪，因為在整個過程中她一直站在那裡，所以她一定是很容易被捕捉到的。但她卻只是隱約的影子，融入了城市的模糊中。我們總是認為自己是有意識的，但我們不都是在夢幻般的香港城市中隱約的影子嗎？
